“2002” in NY

2001年 9.11からの復興のNY　心なしか勢いがなく、華やかさもない。前へ進むこともできず、辛さをこらえてただ時が止まっているようだった。ちょうどスタイリストの仕事からカメラマンへと転身する自分と重ねていたのかもしれない。

悲しみに包まれたNYに花を添えるTaggingアーティストが小さな花を街中に咲かせていたのが印象的だった。

Little after 9.11 2001 in NY.  Losing momentum and shine, the city looked as if it stopped its time bearing the pain.  At the same time, I felt a hole in my heart losing my vision to my future career.  Tagging artists drew little flowers all over to bring back warmth to the city.
